a little late climbing update
Its been quite the busy end of the semester school wise, buts its been quite the good climbing season as well. Lets take a trip back in time and start:
November, 11
Had a great day out at Foster Falls with Ryan and Trey. The temps were perfect and we started the day out of Standing Room Only 5.11a ***, and I got the flash and my hardest ascent to date.

Trey cruxing out on Rode Hard 5.10d
Feeling Good we moved on to Rode Hard, Put up Wet 5.10d a project for the three of us. Trey and I made the redpoint, so good to get that route out of the way. For a cool down we hopped on Fish Eyed Fool 5.10b, another one to get out of the way. We ended the day in the dark on Rehab Slab 5.9

call me frenchie, workin’ some beta on Drug Test Policy
The next weekend me and Ben hit up Rocktown for some beautiful fall weather and a little stress relief after pulling some allnighters for studio. We got our warm-up on and hit up Police Brutality [V3/4] to hopefully get Ben’s send on and I wanted to try the topout again. We met up with this cool guy named Seth from New York and had some fun workin’ it out.

Seth having some fun on The Hobbit [V5]
We mad a journey down the hill to hopefully send a long time project of mine The Hobbit [V5]. Helping Seth out with beta for the bottom was a ton of fun and I was making it up better this time, but still got thrown off on the lip. Seth was psyched on the climb next to it and we started working the beta….and now I’ve got a new one of my project list Full Circle [V4].

Jeff crimping hard on Bob and Curt’s Slab [V6]
Couple weeks later and a bit of a temperature drop Jeff and I headed out for some bouldering at Boatrock. I hopped on my long time project Bob and Curt’s Slab [V6] and flashed it! Gave Jeff a little tour and he had a great day for a non-local sending things such as Sleazy Slab, Two Lips, and Lost Digits. Across the street I discovered a hold had broken on Watch Dog and the sit will definitely go now. We ended the day with some night climbing on Lost Digits and Dishes

Jeff on Lost Digits
December 01
That weekend Jeff and I headed off to Foster Falls for a little bolt clipping action. Warming up Jeff made a nice onsight of Crawdaddy 5.10a and Moving Target 5.9. We headed off for some hard stuff and jumped on Wristlets, but due to a little route finding error ended up taking the direct line Handcuffed 5.11d. Climbing went well and its on my list of routes to do. After a spot of lunch headed down to the bunkers and jumped on Dumbkopf 5.10d, such sweet route. Learned a little bit during the climb as far as, say, bring enough quick draws. Clipping the last bolt I realized that was the last draw…oi. Ended up running it out till the anchor for the onsight.

Ben on Lost Boys Throw [V6]
Last week of school, Ben, Blake, and I made a little ‘last hoorah’ trip out to Boatrock. Ben made a great ascent of Lost Boys Throw [V6]. Shortly after I finally made it to the top of Dishes [V6] after missing the finishing jug around 15 times. While we played around on the Watermellon boulder Blake made his first topout on Kashmir Crack. Great way to end the semester guys! Its been great climbing with ya’ll.
