I though I should post this for my mom, with a note of course….this does infact scare the poo out of me.
Stunning report, cherry yogurt has to be one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. Combine with a graham cracker and it makes for a nice lunch.
I just agreed to a workload that will push me to my limits, and not give the possibility of a 5.0 for a grade [5.0 is the highest]. This is a bit of depressing situation, though the look on Claus’ face when I told him I’m not that great with 3D software so I wanted to focus on that aspect for the final was pretty much priceless. I hope all goes well; the to-do list for the next two...

❝ Please remove the volley ball net that is next to the Solar Decathlon House in the green space in front of West Architecture. Landscaping is on their way over to take it down. ❞Becky Fitzgibbon - Facilities Manager,

Granted I don’t know what the situation looks like, but seriously, are we not allowed to use greenspace to have a little fun?
Off to Milan!

You could be happy, I hope you are
You made me happier than I’d been by far
Somehow everything I own smells of you
And for the tiniest moment it’s all not true
Do the things that you always wanted to
Without me there to hold you back, don’t think, just do
More than anything I want to see you go
Take a glorious bite out of the whole world
concerning aerogel
Philip Proefrock: Aerogel is almost a product out of science fiction. Nicknamed “frozen smoke,” aerogel is extremely lightweight material, with a density only 3 times that of air. Only a small fraction of a volume of aerogel is the material itself. Most of the volume is filled with air. This makes aerogel an excellent insulator. (Aerogel provides nearly 40 times the insulation of fiberglass...

nikography:
When I started college, I had faith that I would be in classes filled with enthusiastic people who were ready and willing to grow. This faith has been long shattered, but it’s grown from indifference to frustration. I strongly believe that any person who wants to make a living out of fine arts and design better be ready to put forth the dedication and effort required to innovate. If...
why experience reigns.
gravitysleeps:
experience, as i meant it references the definition: “a particular instance of personally encountering or undergoing something,” “knowledge or practical wisdom gained from what one has observed,” “the totality of the cognitions given by perception; all that is perceived, understood, and remembered.”
the reason why experience reigns over aesthetics, functions, etc. is because...
❝ How shall the new environment be programmed now that we have become so involved with each other, now that all of us have become the unwitting work force for social change? ❞Marshall McLuhan

You could run and hide
in the street outside
But if you get caught in the rain
just cover what you can
and the rest it washes out like a blood stain
And if you get caught in the fire
just think about what made
your heart cry out
for a little fire at all.
t, this is for you too. Man, its the song of the week [or what’s left of it]
❝ When IKEA makes it, it gets boring.
I’ve got some stuff to say, but don’t listen to me
I have a feeling you are an architect at heart ❞ heard from Jon during today’s presentation [the last was to me]
People need 3 places: 1: a home 2: a workplace 3: a community hangoutRay Oldenburg
Wonderful things to hear with the rise of chain coffee shops like Starbucks that is intern closing down community owned artisan shops. Starbucks is an interesting example having one of their goals to ‘create a home away from home’. Correct mindset…often incorrect architecture like the Gainesville...
